As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. All employees are required to cover all office locations. Locations are in Addison, Arlington Heights, East Dundee, and Hanover Park.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and document basic medical history

• Organize and schedule appointments

• Update medical records and insurance reports

• Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services

• Take vitals

• Assist during medical examinations

• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

• Create referrals for other hospitals/clinics

• Draw vaccines and administer vaccines

• Learn the vaccine schedule

• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software

• Other duties as assigned

 

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours)  or Part-time (10-28 hours)

Pay Range: Starting $16.00 hourly to $19.00 hourly

 

Experience:

• Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred not required)

• New graduates are welcomed!

 

License:

• High School or equivalent (Required)

• Medical Assistant Certification

• Medical Assistant Diploma

• CPR/BLS

 

Language:

• Spanish (Preferred)

 

Shifts:

• Morning (Start times 7:30 a.m.)

• Evening (End times 8:30 p.m.)

• Weekend (Every other Saturday is required)

• 10-hour shift days

• 8- hour shift days
